Endos fuck off this post in particular please. I’m not comfortable seeing you make light of a trauma disorder by using my post for it. Generally I get that chances are you actually do have trauma you don’t remember because that’s literally what DID is supposed to do but in this case I do not have it in me to see endo stuff on this. I can be playful and pretend this disorder is fun for a moment because I know that I still struggle and that I fought to survive so much for so long that my goddamn brain stopped developing into a single person and never fused the personality from ego states like it was meant to - forced to stay in pieces because it couldn’t manage to live that way, and at least what you say is that you got this without any of that. I know you’re probably not trying to cherry-pick and take the good and leave the actual disorder part of systemhood behind but that’s how it would feel to see you reblogging this particular post. yes absolutely!! alters can form from anything, from physical trauma to both positive and negative emotions—at least thats what i was taught! we have quite a few alters that didnt form from stress. i dont know why theyre here, they dont seem to have roles, but sometimes theyre around. i think those who dont form from stress are more often than not ANPs (apparently normal part—i define it as an alter that doesnt hold trauma, stress, etc.) but we actually have an excitement/happiness holder who split when i got really happy that i passed a class i was struggling in! uhh if im wrong anyone can correct me but thats what ive heard anf what ive seen:)

normalise systems who have a very small, simple inner world with limited knowledge about it.

No, the future isn't plural. Plurality isn't all just fun and silliness. It may be comforting at times because you are never alone but the down sides are terrible. Why would you want our future to always be at risk of one of their headmates taking their place. I hope in the future plurality will still be just as rare a is now. It would no longer be a community if a huge chunk of the population is plural! The 1-3% is ENOUGH. We don't need our future generations dealing with the struggles of plurality. No matter traumagenic, or not. Yes, there are reasons to create plurality such as comfortgenic BUT if you really do hope the future will feel the need to have headmates, you need to re think.

i have a question,, have u ever heard of an alter that is like an omniscient being ? we have an alter who wishes not to be named publicly at this time we will just call it ANDROID. .

ANDROID is a super computer / android / omniscient being . along with being a gatekeeper ( the highest version of this in our system ; ANDROID has access to ro memories that some of our trauma holders and gatekeepers cannot access ) , protector , narrator ( basically if the system is asked about , ANDROID will take over the speaking role to tell about the system since it knows all .

ANDROID doesn't actually front, but is in the front room always because that's where its modem is located but because ANDROID is like intricately connected to the system and IW through wires and stuff ??

i don't know we have just recently learned of ANDROID’S existence but please if you have a similar alter let me know !
