This day, 25 years ago, episode 13 of Digimon Adventure premiered and Devimon was defeated.

And Takeru watched as his Digimon reverted to a Digiegg.

There were so many things that happened this episode that I could have depicted, from purifying Leomon, to Angemon striking down Devimon, to Takeru hugging his Digiegg, to Gennai revealing himself to the Chosen. I had to go with the iconic Devimon defeat but Takeru grieving over his loss almost made the cut instead.

New Digimon Adventure 25th Anniversary Exhibition poster was released yesterday.

Basically the anniversary key visual but now updated with all the Adventure kids. (Mimi chan’s pose 🙏🏻✅)

Details unclear but it seems this exhibition will replace DigiFes this year.

On this day 25 years ago, episode 11 of Digimon Adventure aired in Japan.

This episode was wonky getting brought overseas and lost things in translation, but was still fun regardless. As much as I wanted Ikkakumon and Birdramon fighting Bakemon in here, I feel like Joe was really the center of this episode so I gave him the spotlight.

In the announcement tweet for this month’s Digigift which features a beautiful artwork of Mimi and Lillymon, Digimon Partners also shared that on March 6th, they will announce various plans for the milestone 25th anniversary on their digital platforms so we should look forward to the anniversary date!
