Okay, so.

Imagine if at the end of the series, Zuko goes to Ozai's cell, blah blah blah, "you should count yourself lucky that the Avatar spared your life", "why are you really here?" and then...

"Because you failed, Father. I control the Fire Nation. I control the Avatar. And that means I control the world."

And then we cut to the scene in the Jasmine Dragon. Zuko is serving tea. Everybody's having fun. But then the view zooms to Zuko, who's watching them with a very peculiar expression. Nobody's paying attention to him. There's a musical sting... and the moment just ends. Zuko goes over to complain about Sokka's artistic skills along with everybody else. Roll credits.

I think this could be, like, a neat AU. I think we as a fandom don't do enough with Evil Zuko when it comes to AUs and crackfics.

I was feeling stressed yesterday, so I did a little redraw of a scene I really liked :3 (S1E2)

I'm by no means under the impression that Zukka is canon or whatever, but I really love the drama in this scene nonetheless. There's a lot of tension, as it's the first confrontation with the Fire Nation. You see both of them gearing up for battle in really opposite ways - Sokka painting his face, alone in his tent while Zuko gets his armour put on by servants. All accompanied by a sick OST playing in the background. Yeah.. I just think it's neat

Okay but, during the episode where Zuko and Sokka rescue Suki and Hakoda from The Boiling Rock, the guards start cutting the line of the gondola they're in, right?

Wtf was their plan with that tho??? Cuz like, yea the warden told them to cut the line, but Azula is still there. You know, the PRINCESS??? Probably CROWN PRINCESS now, since Zuko "betrayed" the fire nation. Like?????

If the other gondola hadn't passed by and Azula hadn't hopped onto it, she would've been just as dead as the rest of them

"Ah, yes, Fire Lord Ozai, we threw both your children, and the only heirs to the throne, into the boiling lake of a volcano, along with the warden of the prison... but, the good news is: no one has escaped yet! Isn't that nice?"

Happy Zutara Month guys.

Written in the Stars.

Generations will know the story of the young Firelord and his waterbending companion, and how he saved her life during his fight for the throne, earning him another permanent scar.

This doesn’t follow any specific prompt, I just got inspired after a conversation with my friend and boom. Thought it would be a good way to end things since the month is now over!

Zuko’s came together easily, it was Katara who was more difficult (go figure! Stubborn girl hehe). Still not sure I’m happy with it.
