I’ve been so unmotivated but still somehow managed to write smth, been thinking a lot about those girls who just never leave their hometowns and explore the world, whether because they don’t want to or they can’t, either way it’s kinda sad
also been thinking about how it may be wrong to want to write based on a half made up character with (sort like vintage western girly) american vibes but then again i think of how many famous people profit off of impersonating latin people when they are not even from south america so it’s okay ig 😭
anyway, i just keep on dwelling on what name would suit me better if i ever became an artist because my actual name is not it

tell me that you could
see yourself falling
in love with me again
and i will write you
a hundred poems
telling you how i never stopped.
how i tried but failed.
how i stopped trying so easily.
i never stopped writing
about you, either.
look closely, my love.
you can tell which poems
are about you. i all but
titled them with your name.

🥀Spring cleaning 🥀
It’s that time of the year,
Time for washed out feelings to disappear.
Throwing away regrets,
I think they don’t really match with my new dress.
Windows has been covered in the tears of the choices I made.
Good thing spring came along, other ways they would have stayed.
Just as I’m whiping fingerprints of the past,
I keep wondering if in any other world we would’ve last.
Fresh sheets, new softener,
I still want you in my bed, not some foreigner.
Trying to clean darkness from my soul,
I’m not sure if any spring will bring back the light he stole.
Just as breeze enters my room,
My nose catch the glimpse of familiar perfume.
He showed up uninvited,
Just like spring, knocking on my door
I wonder what his thoughts would be,
When he realize
I’m not there,
Not anymore.

i’d let you ruin me
i’d let you tear me down and build me back up again however you see fit
i’d let you do whatever you desired
i just want to feel something
i just want to feel anything
please don’t leave

Read, read, read. Read everything -- trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it. Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out of the window.
— William Faulkner.

We had fun while it lasted
I think I would repeat it for the rest of my life
No matter how long it was

Siren-Moon
The ocean reflects the pearl moon As the siren purrs her angelic tune.
She beckons you under the water— Take the hand of Poseidon’s daughter And melt into the glass sea; Allow the ocean to set you free— Free from death; free from pain; Free from life’s constant strain.
Let the water cradle your tired bones— Join her in the deepest unknowns.
