Ninjago Headcanons 30-34

30:

When Lloyd was little, he’d hide a LOT.

Like, 24-7.

In the most impossible spaces.

Like, Jay would be walking into the living and randomly look up to see Lloyd in the rafters.

Wu was the only being in literal existence with the ability to coax him out.

31:

Once all six were bored enough to start playing hide-and-seek. It lasted the whole day because of their stealth skills, the tracking they’d learned, and the fact that they knew each other too well.

Wu finally joined the game and found everyone in less than an hour.

32: As a kid, with his instincts and past, Lloyd would bite if he needed to. If he was scared and someone’s threatening hand got too close, he’d bite.

You’d bet that Wu was practically immune to any attempts Lloyd made when he was still….. Adjusting to living on the Bounty and with the ninja.

He doesn’t do it that much nowadays, but with the right circumstances….. Watch out.

33:

Jay sometimes feels the urge to go outside in thunderstorms. According to Wu, this is normal for Lightning Elementals, but Wu still locks the doors and windows when a thunderstorm occurs.

Wu also says that Jay has the worst “Element Trances” of any Lightning Elemental he’s seen for a while.

34:

Likewise, other Elementals have trances of their own Elements.

Kai has this trance with Fire, if fire is nearby he knows it and he may just get into a trance.

Zane feels Ice the same way.

Nya’s trances are more like Jay’s, but they don’t happen very often and she won’t wander off as much.

Cole’s are in between, sometimes his trances are like Kai and Zane’s trances, other times they’re like Jay and Nya’s. He just feels the Earth.

Lloyd’s are more like Cole’s, he just feels the Energy of everything.

Jay seriously has the worst case of flanderization in ninjago next to zane, i hate how he had so many character traits but then got dumped down to a manchild, jay was an inventor ffs, he is the reason why the bounty flies, he has the higest iq in the team (excluding zane for very obvious reasons), and i genuinely think its bcz fanon jay was this soft uwu boy (due to the movie, and no hate to tlnm i just think the way it influenced the show and had a huge impact on it was not effecient in any way??) but whats even worse is people actually think jay is the dumbest and is stupid which i mean maybe emotionally?? he is not that logical and makes irrational decisions and gets himself in stupid situations but he is very much booksmart, i really hope the whole evil wolf warrior thing saves his character cuz i love jay so much please bring my wife back..

DRAGONS RISING SPOILERS

Ok so I went from being a firm believer in "Ruler/Leader Jay" in DR and now due to leaks I have a theory that the secret organization he is a part of is in charge of merge damage control (they are not related to Imperium)

He is the leader of his squad and he only has memories from before he met Wu, so he has no idea who the ninjas are or what happened during all those years, but he chooses not to think about it because he is focused on his job and in trying to help people. So yeah... he is quite confused and skeptical when nya tells him everything

I'm starving for a badass Jay arc, guys

Because I think this is the first time in years that the writers are going to give Jay an arc that doesn't have to do with Nya.

I'm also very tempted to write a fanfic about this before the second part of DR comes out.

My ninjago headcanons ✨shoe edition✨

What kind of shoes I think the ninja would wear casually:

Jay:

I know his ass would go into a fight wearing crocs and still win

Nya:

Our queen owns so many of these in every color. I feel like she always has to buy new ones bc only her shoes somehow get ruined on missions

Cole:

I know this man THRIVES in birks. He has those dogs out 24/7

Kai:

Okay these but like super dirty. Mans will buy a new pair every month but he just gets them super dirty within the first week of having them

Lloyd:

I don’t think I have to elaborate. He grew up too fast to learn how to tie his shoes and just never bothered learning. Velcro is a way faster when you’re in a hurry. Also I like to imagine that Lloyd will adjust the shoes and the loud pull of the Velcro will echo in a room especially during a serious moment on a mission.

Zane:

OKAY THESE ARE NOT LIKE COLES these are DAD SANDALS. I know he probably wears the typical bulky dad sneakers and then when not training or on a mission, he’s wearing dad sandals

I think the administration in ninjago is a manifestation of the vast. Giant office building with millions of workers who do basically nothing and drive themselves insane working there. Seems pretty vast coded to me.

On top of that, I think Jay lost his memory by being forced to work there and slowly losing himself in the boring corporate office job. I think that’s funnier and angstier than just oops he hit his head and works here now bc he doesn’t remember anything about his previous life.

Imagine him falling there and being forced to work for the administration “bc he trespassed” or something, and he tries to find a way to escape, or at the very least remember his friends, but just slowly loses his mind in the insignificance of his boring office job. That’d be pretty crazy.

More Jay Walker headcanons⚡️

The best gamer out of all of the ninjas

If someone tries to 1v1 him, they will lose

He used to let Lloyd win when he was younger

He wasn’t a huge gamer until after skybound

He uses it as a distraction

He likes the repetitive puzzles and patterns

Takes anxiety meds but is embarrassed for absolutely no reason

It’s all from skybound but he can’t see a therapist since the timeline was erased

Doesn’t want to burden Nya

He’s always homesick

Misses the junkyard and being able to tinker with all of the scrap parts there

His hair is always staticky

I feel like if he tried, he could make a lightning bolt appear in his hands like Zeus (yall play Fortnite? Exactly like the lightning bolt in the game LMAO)

Touch is his love language

Yet he’s severely touch starved

He leans onto anyone near him on the couch

Everyone has adapted to Jay doing it

Cole and Lloyd will pull him in while Kai is not really a touchy person along with Nya

Nya will be touchy on some occasions

If Jay really needs a hug, of course she’ll give him one in a heartbeat

Zane doesn’t quite understand but will allow Jay to lean in

Due to all of the energy running in his body, he gets tired easily

I think it would make sense if he had chronic fatigue from his powers

he’s hyper and always appears to have a bunch of energy but he’s ready to crash at any moment if he overdoes it

The others don’t know because Jay doesn’t understand that being tired all the time isn’t normal and doesn’t want to complain anymore

But after pushing his body too much, he passes out before practice even starts and he tells Zane he’s always tried and Zane’s literally like jay that’s literally not normal for humans tf?!?

Jay has a vengestone bracelet he wears outside of fighting and practice that helps his body to not overwork itself from his powers
