3D graphs that don't contact the plane in the closure area may proceed as scheduled, but be alert for possible collisions with 2D graph lines that reach the hole and unexpectedly enter 3D space.

In Ancient Greece they didn't have a proper scale for graphing things, later introduced by René Descartes and is now known as coordinate graphing, so to visualize parabolas and more complicated 2D shapes they would imagine slices in 3D objects, typically a cone. This is one of the reasons the Greeks are known for their mathematical achievements, as they were one of the first societies to both value mathematicians and to achieve notable abstraction in their math.
This image represents how Greek Mathematicians viewed more complicated 2D shapes, using the cutting of 3D shapes to visualize the concepts so they could figure out equations to represent area and further analyze the shapes. I credited the creation of the modern day graphing system, most typically known as analytical geometry, with René Descartes, but it could also be attributed to Pierre de Fermat, as they founded the concept at the same time. The founding of analytical geometry itself is attributed typically almost 2000 years before in 200 BC by Apollonius of Perga for his work with conics, defined by a plane going through a cone, introducing the very concept I refer to in this post. If you've read this entire description, I thank you. Expect a meme of some form relating to these concepts in the near future, however I will not be the one making it.

Supposed to learn steep turns next lesson.
Now that's all well and good and I've done them plenty of times before, including last weekend in that big plane.
But I think it's pretty fucking rich that I've gotta be learning them in a plane with NO functioning turn indicators. SURE, you're supposed to learn it by the attitude of the plane, but I don't even have a piece of string tied to the front of the windshield like gliders/early pilots.
I'm flying a plane that only has one functioning compass, airspeed gauge, one altimeter, and oil temperature. That's IT. There are 8 other instruments on this fucking plane that don't function. Last week I had pieces literally dropping off the plane and into my lap while I'm taking off. Jesus christ, fix your damned planes.
Edit: okay also the ammeter works.

Aha tonight I am too tired to get myself off the couch and upstairs to take a shower and go to bed
Instead I have been curled up under a blanket since 8 PM, slept through the entire postgame show (but stayed awake-ish enough to know that the Avs didn’t blow their three-goal lead), woke up when ESPN started blaring ads, retrieved delicious grocery store cake from the fridge, and then alternated between scrolling through my phone and watching modern family until. 20 min ago. But I’m now at least upstairs.
I’m getting up at 10 AM, though. I can’t completely fuck up my sleep schedule. Especially since I have to catch a SIX AM FLIGHT on Thursday lololololololol godddddd

Trying to plan a solo trip for the first time ever, I have about a hundred different tabs and windows open, my brain feels like it's pinging around in my skull from excitement and overstimulation from so much info, and I'm desperately trying not to cry at how cool and pretty everything I could end up seeing looks
