there's this character dynamic that's not necessarily enemies to lovers, where one or both parties don't initially respect or trust the other person in much the same way that a feral animal sees anyone who tries to approach it first as a threat that's like cocaine to me
are you guys really not friends with your parents? your siblings? your older and younger cousins? your professors and teachers and mentors? the regulars at the cafe twice your age? your motherfucking grandparents? open your eyes and your hearts to what a friend can be.
I was just looking at some of your art again and something that I think is amazing is that you really mastered the color wheel. None of your art feels like an attack on my senses and I really appreciate that.
Omg 🥺💕 first of all thank you for looking at my art again, blows my mind that someone is coming back to revisit my art 😭🙌❤️
Second of all I’m glad you like the colors!!!! I love love love coloring the most, it’s my favorite part. Sometimes I try to make stuff eye burning on purpose but I’m glad it’s never too intense as to feel like an attack hehe
the coolest people are actually weird and fucked up and strange and peculiar and they just dont care. the coolest people are actually lame as hell and they rock it. this is what ive learned
recently there was an article talking about people who had to end friendships with swifties because of their literal cult behaviour and i keep thinking about one quote where a swiftie told her now ex friend who suggested other female songwriters "well i just have more expensive taste than you". when you think of this phenomenon from that angle, with a new album every 6 months, all the bloated chart numbers from people buying like 8 vinyl variants of the same album every time, massively inflated tour ticket prices etc, it really all falls into place. i'm honestly shocked that person in the article so readily admitted it like that, because it backs up what i've been saying this whole time, which is that hardcore swifties' behaviour for the most part isn't about them genuinely thinking she's the songwriter of a generation or whatever, it's about status, about money, about paying to be in the "in" group, and the obsessive focus on swarming around anyone with a less-than-glowing view of her or her music is just about keeping it that way.
The phonetic alphabet was developed as a way to spell things out over radio communications that may be less then ideal, I.E. a lot of static or weak signal. All the words were chosen because they have a distinct sound that is easy to pick out. Military and police communications use the phonetic alphabet heavily and can be helpful to know for talking over CB’s or FRS (walky talky) radios.
