The Woes of Growing Pains by CheckersXIV

No one has ever had a successful time acclimating to transmigration.
At least, that's what Shen Yuan tells himself after he accidentally breaks The System. It doesn't help that he wakes up as a teenage disciple inside of the bane of his existence- Proud Immortal Demon Way. He's trying to take precautions to avoid all the death flags that this stupid villain's body of his is going to get him into, but some other disciple really seems to have it out for him...
Shen Yuan transmigrates before the “original goods” is even a disciple, and the System breaks, leaving him stranded in a weird world. But he is soon found by the Peak Lord and taken to the sect. When he finds out where he is, and where he transmigrated into, he decides to not make waves, and just quietly cultivate, and as soon as he learns enough, get away from the sect. Things obviously don’t go as planned, and Shen Yuan ends up making friends with all the future Peak Lords (without even knowing who they’ll become). Liu Qingge appears in the story in his non-nonsense way, wanting to challenge Shen Yuan for a duel. Things progress accordingly.
Shen Yuan is a delightful narrator, his voice is amazing. The way the friendships develop, and then later the Liushen romance goes is so good! And Shen Yuan is just really really good at what he does, and we love a competent character in this house! Adorable story.

Failed
Failed by the ones who should have cared,
DHS, police, and school just stared,
Paramedics came but could not heal,
Family knew but refused to feel.
Every day I seek help, but in vain,
I'm left alone with my pain,
Tired of being the caretaker for all,
When no one takes care of me at all.
It feels like I'm drowning in despair,

this might age me a bit, but i don't care.
I hate schooling, I hate the whole way later high school is conveyed. the third and fourth year of high school should rely less on the parents checking in or really knowing how good a kid is doing in school. By the third year of high school a kid is 16/17. They will be old enough to move out, drive a car. but they aren't old enough to be in charge of their own schoolwork.
That isn't my only gripe with the school system, Edgenuity (an online schooling system), is making their p[programs have unskippable videos to "instruct students on their work". When a student is behind in this case, it becomes IMPOSSIBLE to catch up.
I was someone who in their second year became so behind that some classes said ELEVEN HOURS per class. And I had eight classes that year. Six on the low side. I hope in the future of online learning kids will be able to skip videos if they know what they are doing. It is insane to make someone who is dreadfully behind to watch three hours worth of videos a day in order to catch up after being sick, busy, and burned out.

Last week I was in Papua, in Ayamaru, in the middle of the jungle, in a small village with less than 100 residents and it was a beautiful trip, don't get me wrong, but I still remember how I had a icky feeling when they burned their plastic. I felt that something was wrong, that they shouldn't be doing that.
But then I remembered.
No.
They literally have no better option. They can leave the waste in nature (bad for the environment, bad for animals, bad for the look) or they can burn it (bad for the environment).
No one takes up their garbage.
They have to take care of that themselves.
And it kinda remindes me that in a broken (or non existent) system, there is no good options to take, just ones that are less bad.

When trying to transfer Shen Yuan from the real world to Proud Immortal Demon Way, the System runs into an error. The transfer is not complete.
Shen Yuan is dropped off at the foot of a mountain aware of two things: he's in the story, and the Shen Qingqiu of this world is not only aware but thinks he tried to possess his body — and he's PISSED. Shen Yuan tries to opt out and live a simple life on what locals tell him is a monster-infested mountain no one in their right mind would bother with.
Sounds like a great hiding spot!
(TL;DR: Stardew Scum Villain Valley Mountain.)
I’m gonna start saying I love this story so much! Yes, it is super long! But!!! It’s not repetitive, it’s curious and smart, and there’s so much character development. It’s a whole feast. So what happens when Shen Yuan is transmigrating, but the original Shen Qingqiu is able to stop the “transfer”? He gets a whole new body, finds himself a mountain to hide from SQQ, and decides to make a quiet life for him there, while also trying to avoid the Plot. Not that it is possible with Liu Qingge appearing at the mountain and deciding to help him (while also thinking SY is the secret younger brother of SQQ). We get feelings! Action! Plot! Character development! All the relationships are so good, romantic or platonic! Cool OCs! Shen Yuan being himself and amazing!
