this is probably not a hot take whatsoever but I love imagining that Aziraphale, from centuries of research and observation and books, knows literally everything there is to know about sex, but Crowley is utterly clueless besides knowing, like, the basics from an orgy or two he had to fuck with temptation-wise over the years, but he never paid attention to those anyway

so when/if they finally do have sex, Aziraphale is like ‘so do you want to be the top?’ assuming so and Crowley is like ‘uhhh what’s that’

and Aziraphale is surprised (like with the thing with the gun in 1941) but doesn’t show it and ofc does not make fun of him or anything, and just is so gentle and kind, and guides him through everything no matter what position they end up in, helping him and speaking to him soothingly and reassuring him that he’s doing a great job (which is also how they discover Crowley’s praise kink)

and afterwards Crowley is bewildered like ‘angel why do you know what bdsm is. also what is that’ and Aziraphale is just like ‘dear I have a whole section of books in the back of the shop detailing all of the positions tried and tested by the Romans and the Greeks would you like to see them there are very detailed drawings they loved fellatio’

Crowley then asks about fifty shades of grey and if Aziraphale’s talking about stuff like that because he’s heard about that before in hell and Aziraphale nearly has an aneurysm (and THAT is when they discover Crowley’s degradation kink)

there’s something funny about the people pissed at aziraphale for his choice in the end because they’re doing exactly what the show itself is criticising its characters of doing; not looking at things from the other person’s perspective
