I know I’m gonna get crucified for saying this but drag queens are sooo corny and lame.
Putting aside the misogynistic issues, but like what is their actual talent? They are not singing. They don’t make their costumes anymore. Their dancing is always shit, every show I’ve been to they just meander around plucking cash outta people’s hands. Strippers work way harder to get their dollar bills.
Like not to sound petty or bitter but women could never get away in the talent industry being so mediocre, only men get away with that shit.
People will call Ariana Grande a bad singer, or say Beyoncé is getting old… but Trixie Mattel will be lauded as a comical genius? Or a style icon? HUH. And be invited to literally everywhere, even things that are completely unrelated to him.
Like Lana del Rey was ripped to shreds for being too “derivative” of Americana, but men can do the shittiest imitation of how men think women are (sluts, bimbos, ditzy blondes, catty whores) and get their asses kissed so hard, it’s so annoying!
