my personal way of explaining around it is that nina’s simply been there the whole time but we didn’t see her due to being shrunken down.
actually i think it would be really funny if everyone just started taking stills of pivotal moments in the show and started hiding a little png of nina in them.
Ever After High was so irresponsible when introducing new characters to the roster especially during chapter 4.
with Monster High it didn’t matter as much because it was a lot more episodic whereas Ever After High is a serialized story with an overarching narrative, so to randomly throw in Nina Thumbell and swear up and down, “Ashlynn Ella is her best friend forever-after!,” is hilarious to me because i’m not convinced ashlynn even knows who she is.

so I haven’t followed equestria girls for a while , but for the main antagonist for your finale, would it be someone that “returns” or would it be someone completely new?
Another thing that might be a strong ask. Have you considered writing songs for the finale or at least fitting titles? Every one of the movies I think has at least one song.
so i wrote two movies actually, the first sorta finally exploring somethings that have been more so left to speculation, and then the second being the true finale. the first one’s antagonist is actually a character we know being possessed by dark magic. the second one’s antagonist is TECHNICALLY a new character, but also one that exists already. hard to actually articulate that without spoiling it much.
as for songs, yes! i wrote songs for both of them! the song sequences actually are some of my favorite parts. the only problem is the only references i have to how they’re supposed to sound are old audio clips of me singing them that are honestly kind of embarrassing. i didn’t mind the quality at the time though because they got the point across and i was only sharing it with close friends anyway. the thing is, my voice has changed a lot so now i couldn’t even re-record any of them if i wanted to without struggling due to them being out of my range or just sounding like a bunch of men singing all the parts 😭 but idk, with enough encouragement i could maybe be convinced into releasing it. the songs are actually solid.
