That headcanon about Red Hood Jason letting Dick know...
Imagine the family finding out Dick is somehow convinced the new crime lord in town is Jason. And they daren't disillusion him...
Bruce showing up and offering to fund Red Hood for life, set him up at millionaire style, whatever, or if he's really into this crime lord thing maybe they can set him up with Catwoman, she's really good at spotting the types who really deserve a crime lord's attention...
Anything, just keep pretending to be Jason, please don't do anything to break Dick's heart, he's already been through so much...
And Tim showing up and calmly describing to Jason, possibly with a PowerPoint presentation, exactly what he would do to him if he ever hurts Dick.
Jason, still trying to figure out how exactly the brat managed to get past his safe house security system : Replacement, I'm kinda starting to like you again.
Jason would be so bamboozled by the easy acceptance of all the killing he does. Like— how bad was it that this is the better alternative!?
Also, Tim incorporating several slides on “how to act like Jason so Dick can stay in his delusion”, courtesy of trial-and-error by one Tim Drake. And warnings on how to dodge a Talon attack if Hood screws up and Dick momentarily comes back to his sense and realizes he’s not Jason.
(Jason is thoroughly disturbed by the claw marks down Tim’s neck that he shows him as demonstration after Jason insisted on proof.)
