Since this is pride month, here a little clip of the dragon keep resident couple, Blabberbob, and his husband Quiet Quimby. The latter works out of town, so he will be away most of the time, but you may catch a glimpse of him being home, happily listening to his husband's endless rambles and anecdotes from time to time.
Anyway, a happy pride month to everyone, and let us hope for a society that actually evolves toward making life easier for all queers.
This is Riftshot! A 3D plaformer based on movement and exploration! What's the big deal with it? Well, the main idea is that you have a grappling hook you can use to zip to and cling to surfaces, pull and pick up objects, attack enemies similarly to the sonic homing attack, and even harness and deploy elements such as fire, ice, electricity, and acid!
What's the story?
A self-proclaimed hero, Olive Midorsori is on a mission to destroy the aura sapping Gleamglass Company, to save her world from corporate exploitation. With help of her Rift-slinging best friend April, and her powerhouse of a teacher, Violette, nothing will stand in the way of her mission. Follow her on her adventure through the disparate biomes of Stargrove Island, collecting shards of a mystical aurora, and thwarting the plans of the nefarious Somno Snoozy!
I've been working on this project for about 3-ish years now, and I hope to have a demo out by the middle/end of summer, depending on if I get enough playtesters or not.
And yes I know there are a lot on Indie 3D platformers out there, but I really hope you guys consider playing this when it comes out!

So, it's been a bit. Mostly because of college and me bashing my head against the wall that is physics. Especially Godot's physics...
But I think it's finally working properly! I changed the way forces are applied to the player but then I noticed stuff was clipping when colliding. At first I tought my changes were the cause but it was just the engine itself so I tried out the Jolt physics engine Godot integration and it works like a charm
Once more I will say that my next task will be the enemy but as I have discovered I can get distracted easily :)
Oh also the flame attack is back but that was a pretty minor fix
Welcome to the save and load menu! Here, you'll finish the night off by saving your work in your portfolio. You can always pick up where you left off in the morning :)))
I managed to improve my algorithm a bit. Now I can set colors for the floor and walls per tile type and also how deep and randomized the smoothed edges are
I still have some plans for blending of tiles with different colors but for now I'm quite happy with how it's going so I'm going to hook it up to a gridmap next so I can draw maps by hand
