Hi! I have a side order question- do you have any idea of why the keys you obtain in boss levels have agent 8’s kamabo co identification wristband on them? I think it is specifically theirs as it says the 10008 on it ( it is also attached to the bottom of the 8 palette in the palette menu but that just kind of makes sense). The memverse had to have had the lockers and keys for a reason but I’m not sure what. And since the memverse was made for sanitized octolings and not for test subjects (who have the wristbands) it wouldn’t make sense for the keys to have a corresponding wristband for anyone in the memverse as the primary users wouldn’t have ever had one. Would marina just put it there as a nod to eight? I would love to know your theories :)) also thank you so much for translating the side order interview!💕

tbh i havent thought much about it. since the lockers that we see are just for Eight to open (its their job to reconfigure the palettes inside), it would make sense that the keys are just for them too. the same identification band is tied to their palette too. i assume that things would look a bit different for other Octolings that make the climb later on, as eight is the first real tester of the spire.
