Dathomir Daily

Frīn Fa Ōlen (Crown of Death)

- upon the death of a Dathomiri, there are many ways of burial amongst the clans. Nightbrothers’ highest honor of burial is to be quartered and fed to the Rancors so as to live on within them, forever in service to the Nightsisters. Blue Coral Divers set their dead on rafts into the swamps with bowls of candles, dressed in their finest. Singing Mountain also arrays their dead in their finest, along with weapons and prized possessions, and wraps them in game hides to be enclosed in stone.

But all clans have one practice in common.

The horns of the dead are carefully cut away, bored through with a cord or chain, and given to the person with whom the dead was closest in life.

The dead are then given new horns. Sometimes a precious metal, blue coral, lightning glass. Something regal and splendid. A crown of glory and beauty to wear to meet Death.

Staying private and why it's important

People are sooo nosy, it's human nature to know what everyone is doing at all times. but you don't know what the person you're telling something to is going to do with that information, which is why it's better to stay private.

WHEN to stay private:

- plans you have in regards to your future

- how far along you are in an assignment or how well you did on something

- any ideas you have regarding business or creative assignments

WHY stay private:

- people might steal your ideas or use your words against you

- make you feel bad about your ideas or thoughts

- does not give anyone who is not close to you any unnecessary insight into your life

- protects your peace

HOW to stay private:

- think before you speak and think about who you're speaking to

- stray away from any topics regarding yourself unless necessary, people love talking about themselves
