Chapter 1: Prologue [In progress]

I will then post the official novel section, Sora family. Again, it's not that you shouldn't directly post the plot of  Sorato in novel, but that the relationship between the Sorato is related to the family of both parties, so it cannot be omitted. In the TV version, Sora family is not actually described much, but in the novel, Sora family background is officially written.

Sora Takenouchi’s mother, Yoshiko, was at the “Takenouchi School of Flower Arrangement” office on Block Eight in Ginza. Sirens from police cars rang uninterrupted outside. Sometimes, something like explosions or (quite large) beastly roars seemed to be mixed in. The TV and radio had strong static, so they were unable to be viewed or listened to. Not even the phones worked, so she had no idea what was going on. “I wonder if they’re filming for a movie. All I hear are police car sirens, so it can’t be a fire,” Yoshiko whispered as if to herself, looking up from her examination of documents for the fall exhibition. The Takenouchi School wasn’t that big, but it was a school of long old tradition, and Yoshiko had dignified, strong-willed eyes that were befitting for the head of the school. Because of its long-standing tradition, her husband, who was an assistant university professor at the time they were wed, chose to take on her surname. It didn’t mean that he was adopted into her family, but while her apprentices would frequently visit her home, her husband Haruhiko was not at home, or even in Tokyo, for long periods of time since his field research on folkloristics kept him away. It was possible that others saw her as a person who treated her apprentices highly, but her own husband frivolously. Even her only daughter, Sora, gave her a hard time when she secretly took on a rebellious attitude because of it.

Because it was the reason why my father changed his surname, he was always discriminated against, so Sora opposed it for this reason.

But why do you think that you don’t know what real love is? A flower-arranging school? What is that? Someone who teaches flowers? So your mother is a grandmaster who teaches flower-arranging. Hmm. Then there must be a lot of these ‘apprentices’ you say, and your mother must always be busy. Is Sora’s mother also the mother of those apprentices? Nothing like that, but she has to think about the others all the time, huh? What do you mean by ‘family position’? You always have to be on your best behavior and appearance? That must be difficult. So you hate being called the daughter of a grandmaster. What about your father? Ah, you love your father. But he’s never home even though he’s a teacher? Being a professor must take up a lot of time. So your mother has to act like your father too. Why do you think that your mother doesn’t care about your father? She’s never in the house but she never goes to see your father. So that’s why you think that way. Sora, you think that your mother doesn’t love. I see, so that’s why you think that you don’t have love either.Your mother is against you playing soccer? Not really, but for that match she said you couldn’t play? And then you lost? Well, yes, there’s not much that can be done without the ace striker. You wanted so much to fight for the others. What happened to that wound?

https://digitalscratch.pmsinfirm.org/5719 In addition, his father is often away from home, and the university teachers are very busy, so Sora always felt that his mother did not cherish his father, because his mother was always at home and did not go out to see his father, so he felt that his mother had no love, so he naturally felt that he did not have it either. In the TV show, I lost a football. Although my feet recovered later, I couldn't get into that team because of this incident. Sora felt that his mother didn't understand him and that his mother didn't love him, so he naturally didn't understand it. In fact, TV was impossible prove that mother has no love. So after the novel is supplemented, it is natural to understand the ins and outs. Sora has always had this concept. Basically, Yamato and Sora are the same person, the same thought, the same doubt about himself, and the same doubt about why he is such a badge.

After the buckets were filled to the top, Sora grabbed one in each hand and climbed back up the stone steps. The weight of the buckets made her arms feel like they were being pulled from their sockets. Normally this task would have been left to the boys, while the girls were assigned easier work (such as cutting vegetables, or gossiping as they gathered firewood). However, Sora disliked doing such things. As a person who ordinarily never wore a skirt if she could help it, she consciously denied her position as a girl. Such masculine traits of hers were only further reinforced after she’d joined the all–male soccer club.

In the official novel, Sora joined the boys football team because she rebelled against being a girl. Later in the novel, Sora contacts his mother, understands that this is a misunderstanding, and understands his mother's heart. Of course, there are also TV shows, but the scene is different. In the official novel, Sora is still at home, and his mother is willing to be arrested in order to protect her  daughter. ,Sora understood his mother's heart, because in order to protect the other party, seeing the other party being injured, he couldn't bear to watch the injured her (or Piyomon) go to fight (competition).

Sora quit the soccer club and began to learn the basics of flower-arranging under her mother’s tutelage.

In the novel, Sora thinks that he can understand Yamato heart the best, because it is the same mother's problem, and he hopes to have a deeper understanding of his mother with Yamato through communication. Of course, these parts will also be posted, because it is a later plot.

Sora and PDA

Ok so this is just a thought i had that i first sent to @ahiddenpath as an ask but of course it broke so anyways they suggested i shared my thoughts and tbh i kinda wanted to so here we go.

I don't think Sora would be one to Pda. Now this might not shock many off you considering her personality. Sora has always been rather reserved she kept to herself and she wasn't one to show her emotions. Now that alone would be a good enough reason as to why pda wouldn't be her thing. But something hit me. Her life at home could explain it. Now you could argue her life at home is pretty much the reason why she has such a reserved side to her personnality which yeah makes sense. But that isn't what i am trying to show here.

Think about this for a second. It would be safe to say the first potrayal of a romantic relationship a child would see would be their parents. In fact the romantic relationship between parents seriously impacts how a child views/acts in romantic relationship no matter if it's in a positive or negative way.

Now who would this translate to Sora ?

Well from what we know this would mean she hasn't really seen what a loving relationship is between a married couple. Just think about it. Her father Haruhiko is rarely around in world and even in the eyes of the viewers ! He only appears in like three episodes two of which only briefly from i can recall and he isn't even shown interacting with Sora at all ! In fact the only glimpse of their dynamics would be in the Drama Cds.

And from what we can see in those Sora admires and wonders about her father a lot. She evens shows some trust in him as tells him about Piyomon and the digital world. Another interesting thing to note is has i have said before she wonders a lot about him and has a lot of questions for him about his work.It also said that he travels all around japan and even sometimes overseas and that he teaches in kyoto. So there would certainly be this distance between him and his family.

Also add the fact of Sora's relationship with her mother and the history behind it. Toshiko is said to be extremely devoted to flower arranging and passing the art onto Sora and her other students. She also is said to be harsh teacher.

So yeah while the relationship between Sora and her mother does improve such conflict does not just dissapear it will have some marks on their dynamic. Her mother is also said to be very busy in fact the reason Sora took upon flower arranging in the first place was to spend more time with her mom.

So yeah two parents who have a certain distance from their daughter. That will definetly have some impact on Sora as a person and how she deals with her own relationships.

Also counting the fact that their might be a distance between Haruhiko and Toshiko as well. As i stated before it is majorly implied that Haruhiko is rarely around no doubt that would affect their marriage to some degree also counting the fact that they have a daughter whith whom they both a very complex relationship with and that keeps her distance..yeah its a lot.

Now as i said earlier what a child sees in the romantic relationship of their parents affect how they view and act in a romantic relationship of their own.

So now would this have some major impact in the romantic relationship Sora would have ?

Personnally i'm not sure. I mean i am much more inclined to the outcome that it will but will it even be that much will it strain her relationships ? That i am not sure but this could also depend on who she is with.

If she is with Taichi he would definetly be one for Pda. However i doubt he would mind, he would notice that Sora is much more shy and awkward in their relationship but i doubt he would take it personally. I think he wouldn't want to push or make her uncomfortable so he justs goes slow and lets their relationship grow slowly into something they feel confident about showing if that makes sense so he might feel a bit miffed by it but i doubt it would be a serious issue.

Now if she were with Yamato, this wouldn't be a problem at all. She and Yamato are already extremely private people the same would be said for their relationship. Now i cam see Yamato being the one to insinuate the Pda more but seeing that would be like trying to swat a fly.

If she were with Mimi i feel like that would be the relationship were it would be brought up and be the most noticeable. It wouldn't be a disaster. I feel like Mimi would mostly tease her about it. I also see Mimi being the one to connect the dots ? Like one day a very emotionnal Sora just kinda vents about her family and the pressure she has on her shoulders and how she feels like there is a distance between her and her parents how her dad isn't around and Mimi as she listens it clicks and shes like "oh my god" and i feel like she would try to bring Sora out of her shell.

Well there we go that's my take it ended being longer than i expected it to be. But I said everything that was on my mind.

DigiWeek 2022 - Day 4: School's Play/Drama

Days: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] Title: The School Play Characters: Sora Takenouchi, Yamato Ishida, Aiko (OC), Kouji (OC), Takeru Takaishi, Kimi Takaishi (OC), Kenichi Takaishi (OC), Natsuko Takaishi, Toshiko Takenouchi, Hiroaki Ishida, Haruhiko Takenouchi (both mentioned). Summary: Aiko is going to perform on a play for the first time.  Sora held the fancy burgundy dress in front of her as soon as she finished sewing it, with a large smile on her face. Though she specialized in kimonos, she just couldn't say no to the opportunity to make the outfits for Odaiba's Elementary School play, especially when Aiko was in the cast and relentlessly begged her mother to accept it. The hardest thing was keeping it a secret, as Sora wanted to show it to her daughter so bad. She neatly folded the dress and put it on the top of the high pile of outfits, feeling extremely grateful and proud of everyone's effort into making it work. All that was left to do was take the request to school and wait for the day of the play.

Kouji was already waiting by the door when she opened it. She immediately bent down and picked him up, not surprised at all that he was standing there. He's always had a sixth sense when it came to her, maybe because he was more attached to her than Aiko was. "Mommy." He hugged her tight. "Hey, sweetheart." Sora dropped her keys over the counter and walked into the living room. From the kitchen, she could hear Aiko speaking loudly and found out she was actually rehearsing for her play. "Did the kids give you too much trouble?" "Not really." Yamato looked at her from his seat on the couch. "Kouji was watching TV pretty much the whole time and Aiko has been reciting her lines from the play who knows for how long. At this point I could easily replace her." "She's just that excited for it." Sora stated with a light smile. "She reminds me of you whenever you had a concert. I swear I could hear you playing from my apartment and I lived on the opposite building." "Oh come on. I didn't play that loud." He protested jokingly. "Sure you didn't. It's a good thing your father only arrived late at night. He'd have gone crazy if he didn't." "Are you insinuating I was a bad player?" He stood up and walked to her. "Who? Me?" Sora laughed and put Kouji back down. "No, I actually think you were an amazing player and singer too." "I can be amazing in many other things, you know?" He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her towards him. "Don't I know it?" She whispered staring intensely into his blue eyes and kissed him briefly. "I'm so happy you're staying longer with us this time." "Me too. I always feel like I'm missing out too much when I'm away." Yamato looked at their children. "They weren't this big when I left a year and half ago." "Well, eighteen months had gone by since then. They grow up incredibly fast at this age." "Tell me about it." "Mommy, did you finish my dress?" Aiko stood beside them and looked at Sora with apprehension and hope. "Yes, I did. I finished it today." "Is it beautiful?" "It is. It's the prettiest dress I've ever made. You're gonna love it." "Can I see it?" "Sorry, sunshine. It's a surprise. But you'll find out a little before the day you're going to perform. What if Sora and her mother's cold war gets so bad that she says she wishes she could go live with dad? And the mother immediately tells her that is not an option and you need to stop acting like this. But when the mother brings this up to the dad while they're talking on the phone he says that may be a good idea. Give them a chance to take a break from each other and reevaluate. The mother is like, this is just ridiculous how can you even consider this? This would require Sora taking a break from school and doing her work with you. And you would have to take her with you on your trips. As the days go on, though, it seems more and more like a good idea, so the mom agrees. And Sora definitely gets a new prospective while traveling with her dad.

Sora Week - Day 2

Day: [1] All the colors and different shapes of leaves and flowers during spring drew the attention of ten-month old Sora, who was in her father’s arms. Haruhiko and Toshiko Takenouchi had gone to Kyoto that weekend because he had gotten a job at Kyoto University and they were looking for a place for him. Toshiko was the headmaster of the Ikebana school, a position that required her a lot of commitment and responsibility, and she decided to stay in Odaiba with baby Sora. Haruhiko was more than okay with this and promised to be with them as much as he could. They decided to spend that Sunday at one of Kyoto’s parks before going back home.
