Hi, Kat! Rotating that Itto thought you posted earlier; he’s usually someone who overestimates himself, overplaying into this “macho hunk” role. He claims himself invincible, truly the greatest, truly the strongest — no, nothing can touch him. I imagine this would probably prove a small hurdle when you first start scolding him for being so reckless; for getting himself so terribly hurt. He’d tell you it’s fine, he waves his hand and says it’s “barely a scratch” when he’s missing an entire horn. But after having experienced your warmth, after seeing your loving expression as you ask him if he’s alright, if he’s in pain — the way you take time out of your day to see to his wounds, to bandage his hurt, to personalise his otherwise boring casts and braces with reminders of your love, something in him… changes. Not that he’d admit it or ever show it if others are present. But, perhaps, in moments where it’s just you two, he can indulge himself by doing the absolute opposite of what he did before; playing into his injuries, whining about how much it hurts even if it doesn’t in hopes of catching your attention, and then basking in the softness of your touch when you do finally notice and tend to him.

He'd get so so like whiny about it "owww... that hurtsss...." "it's a scratch on your forehead." And I kiss it.
He lost his horn due to the Tenryou commission, one guards arrow just so happend to hit his left horn and it just popped off. He's so bold about it now, but behind his set up he made a grave for it 😭, and that's also how he lost his big tooth/tusk (oni teeth.) WHATEVER.
A teeth ref bc idk how to describe it. He has a wide wide smile bc of how his teeth r built so it shows off his gums
ANYWHOOO I wish in game it was more explored that yea he is dumb and plays up the macho man, I want to see him be vulnerable...
Maybe one day he pushes himself to far and basically breaks his back, and he's out for a good few days, if my insert was in game, you would see her most of the time with his head in her lap, sleeping away as she sews on his back brace, adjusting it and decorating it. He may play it up a lot so he can get special treatment from her
She is cold and coy but man she can't say no to her oni, that's just mean ((and he has done stuff for her, and she ain't a prick.))

There's two options that stand out; either they share a class and end up seated next to each other, he's polite and charming and ofc makes idle conversation or explains something she might not totally understand (or the cliche "can I borrow a pen?" Lmao)
OR they meet at a party during one of the first few weeks of the semester and the chemistry is so natural and organic that it just spirals from there!
It probably takes a good few months for Rafe to decide he's going to open up, after they've been on a few dates and things are looking to get serious, he's very honest about his past and allows her the time and space to process and ask questions, which he does his best to answer
R probably ends up meeting Sarah and Wheezie around Spring Break - she didn't go home with him for Christmas but he's been dying to show her Kildare and introduce her to his sisters, so she agrees and its a good time in all honesty, they like her more than they thought they would. The two of them were fully prepared to go full sabotage mode to save Rafe but they realise that's not even remotely necessary!

This chapter fed my obsession for all things supernatural. I ate this chapter up Sibi! (Mwah! 😘) I love it when you go off on the SA/MV lore. It's so enticing!
That totally explains why Yoongi knows so much about magic. He was a gd warlock before becoming a vampire. 🧙🏻♂️➡️🧛🏻♂️ I thought he just picked up the magic along the way after being alive for so long and being a creature of supernatural nature he could just harness magic, but this is a waaaaaay deeper plot point. His teacher cursed him and started this whole thing 🥺 what Yoongi and fellow warlocks did was bad, but damn. That's why you shouldn't mess with dark magic. You never know what you're ultimately going to end up with or end up losing.
I loved the part where Yoongi and Tae were talking about the spell to end vampirism and possibly becoming mortal. I'm glad Tae kind of knocked some sense into Yoongi, because IF this does work, then reader would only be okay with Yoongi using it if everyone in the family would agree to do it. It's either reader becomes a normal vampire or they ALL become mortal. There's going to be no in-between and Yoongi's going to have to understand that.
Also, I'm glad they got to talk things out without Jimin hovering over them. Now I just hope things stick. I do like the theory someone posted (sorry I can't remember if it was an anon or an actual username) that said Tae realizes that reader is better off with Yoongi and he sacrifices himself to save them all. I thought this was great, but at the same time heartbreaking.
Will we get to have a peek into Jungkook comforting reader? Tae said he left her with him and I would love to see some fluff between those two. 💗

Sana is one of the most strongest angels I have ever seen. It is halfway through her season, she has been kicked in the heart a million times and she still hasn’t shed one tear. I hope she is okay. She is going to bury all her emotions until a tsunami breaks, and i can’t imagine anything worse ahhhh
but no she is okay. You saw the message she got from her mother. She has people around her who love her and will shower her with love the next 8 days. Her mother doesn’t need to know how much she is hurting, to smile and love her anyway. Remember that. She isn’t all alone…not entirely.

so Even goes and orders his needy boyfriend pizza.
so yeah don’t worry Isak is fine, he is just a little shit who loves being doted on by his handsome boyfriend.
