You all noticed that mc is very traumatized? Especially in the options, the answer comes out “Be careful.” When Eric fell in the forest, mc just started to panic, although it was clear that Eric just fell and no one attacked him. And when Eric says, “It’s okay, I just fell,” mc was trying to say that she thought Eric was attacked like Jessy or Richy. I noticed that when Eric shows us the caves, mc also lets us know that she is afraid and remembers something. The character is very traumatized and blames herself for everything.

I know it’s for the sake of the drama but when Yoru met Kano she was literally living almost by herself because her mom/manager left her alone after work related issues.
Which clearly shows that Kano mom sucks as manager (left her client to be dragged by internet gossip and unemployed) and as mom I’m not even starting to talk about it. And even knowing it Yoru was like “I think is a great opportunity for me to accept this offer from this totally unreliable person who the only thing I know about is that she left a teenager by herself eating shitty food in a messy apartment that I cleaned myself because it was unbearable”. I’m really enjoying the drama of jellyfish I think they created a really good setup for the end of the season with not so many plot points to solve, it make me believe they will hit the ground in the end, but how they made my girl Kano dirty today really bothered me

Ok but like
Kano fell in love with Mahiru before even knowing who she was, and her art saved Kano's life at her lowest point. in turn this inspired hte song that would later also save Mahiru from her own self... Which, in a roundabout way you could say means she saved herself.
Kano's trauma led to her snapping at Mahiru and telling her that she (yoru/jellyfish) can't swim, but the truth is, Kano is the one who wouldn't be where she is if not for Mahiru.
It's not the Mahiru who can't swim. It's Kano.
That's why she has the jellyfish toy.
Every single second of this episode was scientifically crafted to cause as much pain as possible. My god.

GUYS AFTER A DECENT LAST EPISODE WE GET SOME GOOD FUCKING DRAMA THIS WEEK!!!! Holy shit I know I live for drama in my media but damn I wasn't expecting any real stuff in yorukura and I am so pleasantly surprised!
I wasn't expecting that raw, visceral, extremely hurtful line from Kano, like I thought the issues would be resolved in a single episode like usual but NOPE we get some A-grade "nobody's wrong but nobody's right either" instead
