there’s something to be said about having a dog that you can just. give to other people and be like 🧹 shoo go play with her 🧹 and nette simply Does Not Care as long as the person in front of her is holding a frisbee
i let some novice/intermediate handlers play with her in a couple games and she plays so nicely for everyone else. and both of them placed in at least one game with her! proud of both people & my superb little dog for being such a great dog to introduce people to the sport/fill in for other dogs

I follow you for so long already, and I still remember how scrubby Nettle looked when you got her and now she just looks so great. Like of course you can still tell her apart from Finch because work vs showline but her coat looks just really healthy and in good condition now 💛
first two pics from era 2020 (nettle acquisition era) & bottom two pics are from era yesterday & today
i took a huge chance getting nettle (due to Not Mentioning On Social Media reasons). i thought if we could work through some minor issues and everything her breeder said was true, then she’d be a fantastic dog. i am so, so glad i took that chance. i never thought of her as an immature dog but looking back she’s matured so much both in body & mind and i. ugh. she’s so incredible. she’s going to be one of those dogs you & anyone you know talk about for your entire life because that’s how big of an impression she makes.

i will not be getting another groen! i will probably always have at least one in my life, but they’re too big of a breed for me right now and i haven’t found a breeder that is breeding for exactly what im looking for that would be feasible to get this time

for life updates: i graduated with my masters in bio, got a new job that doesnt start for a bit, have basically been traveling around the midwest every weekend for a dog competition, the female i'm hoping to get a puppy from is in heat, AND part of my house is being demo'd to remove chipping lead paint which. eugh. but WHEW
#lead paint is almost removed B) from one room#the rest are getting encapsulated bc of the time/effort/money/safety shit that it takes#but SO MUCH!!!!#i am tired

Super dumb question, so I apologize in advance.
Is your car top tent just for the dogs, or for you too?
If it's for you too, what is the process of getting in and out? What's your setup look like sharing that space with two dogs?
I'm looking for an improved camping setup for myself and two dogs, but we've always slept in ground tents or in the car thus far. Which, depending on the weather, hasn't always been awesome.
nooo not a dumb question at all! love questions about anything
the tent is for both me and the dogs - mainly me, because the dogs can sleep in their crates if needed but it gives them a bit more room to stretch their legs at night and i prefer to have my dogs with me when sleeping anyway so. works out. the dogs will sometimes stay in the tent during the day if its cool enough outside.
the tent is MUCH bigger than it looks from the outside. i'd say its similar to car camping with a bit more room (depending on car setup) and definitely more airflow. i have a mattress pad and a bunch of blankets and bring my pillow and finch's pillow so it's super comfortable to sleep in too. space is tight but i honestly could probably fit another dog in there and still be able to sleep comfortably. definitely not another person though.
for getting up/getting down - i get up the ladder, dogs get up via yoga mats.
