idk why didn't i mentioned it before but my oc has a name----- she's Jinhua! aaand I'm not sure if i should infodumping with her lore, but i often draw her with Chameleon and write some fanfiction so i think i should tell you a little about THEIR lore

i gave my traumatized girl Chameleon a lot of time to understand that feelings for someone is not dangerous. and when i say "a lot" i mean that the first time she _smiled_ for Jinhua was like??? after a month??? they met??? she didn't want to appear vulnerable and was constantly afraid of some kind of threat, even though Jinhua was quite friendly. she didn’t believe in this friendliness and absolutely everything in Jinhua seemed forced and strange to her. but hey! in the spirit realm, these girls had an eternity at their disposal! so, Jinhua did not impose herself, and was only there when needed (maybe Chameleon hides her feelings well, but Jinhua is very empathetic. she cannot be deceived), gently showing that Chameleon can trust her.

Jinhua has some kind of a toxic trait to start SO many things at the same time and never finishing it. it bothers her because she wants to have everything, but no matter how she tries, it almost never works, and she, yes, can do everything, but... a little bit of each. anyway, when she fell in love, she was like "yeah, this girl is hard, but i love her and i will do whatever to make her happy, even if she doesn't love me back and never will." Jinhua wanted to believe that under the hard scales of her chosen one there was something soft and tender. but she never rushed her beloved and agreed to any outcome of her efforts. she didn’t want a relationship so much as she wanted to be able to heal the Chameleon’s heart and soul, and she did! maybe not until the end, but like I said, they have eternity together. we both just want our girl to be happy
