What most people think he's doing: Staring out of his window while sipping a glass of his finest Demonus. A haunting cursed record plays whilst he recounts his accomplishments and smirks at the memory of everyone's humiliating moments.
What he's actually doing: Slumping back against his headrest, an electric blanket over his legs and sore knees, and a migrane hat/ice pack pulled over his head as he flips through a cheesy romance story.
Actually, he does both. Silly man.

mini RL rant under the cut
dealing with your job and jury duty is so stressful??? like i called 3 days -- technically 4 -- in advance bc i know there's a 48 hour expected minimum for calling out for shifts at my work. the normal scheduler is of course my luck on vacation right now so i called the intermediary and she said okay but also to call my boss-boss and let him know -- so i did
and he was so bewildered and confused and sounded like "uh why are you bothering me with this??" the whole time even tho i'm just doing what was asked of me?? especially since this is my first time ever calling out at this job and my first ever time doing jury duty
here in my state you call the courthouse the evening before your date to see if you actually have to go in so i won't actually know until then, but my work said i need to let them know more than 2 days in advance if i won't be able to make it and i just don't know if i'll be able to make it??? so i'm trying to cover my bases??? but they're giving off the impression that they're so put out by my trying to get the shift covered ahead of time???
