a mess of headcanons I never got to post
headcanon: Eve's had a best friend names David (knives and pens, perfect weapon, goodbye agony). They met in middle school when she stood up for him in front of a group of bullies at their school. After sharing the same interests (writing, Black Veil Brides, embracing the concept of being different) they ended up extremely close, like brother and sister, and even planned to leave together when Eve turned eighteen. At the time, he was eligible, being two years older and dealing with family problems per-usual, but he promised to wait for her.
When David turned eighteen himself, he disappeared. Eve refused to believe that he had simply ran from town without her, knowing he wouldn’t just leave her like that. After a little while, she began to lose faith had made a promise to never trust anyone like she trusted him. The truth is, David had been captured by F.E.A.R. and had no chance to warn her before being brought to the abode.
headcanon: Her father shown in Lost It All is not her real father. Biologically, her father was a drunk and was sent to jail when she was 10 for attacking her mother while intoxicated. Her mom quickly found a new boyfriend and they got married when Eve was 13. The wedding was one of the most miserable days she had to endure. Before things got bad, her real father had been a rock n’ roll fanatic with a motorcycle, which caused her to fall in love with the scene at a young age.
headcanon: Eve’s mother and her would have bonding moments such as them baking together and her mother teaching her how to do her makeup.
headcanon: In beginning adolescence, she began self harming, addicted to the way that it felt. She used many different weapons and it went on for a while until she stopped after promising to try to recover when meeting Andy.
headcanon: Eve has a secret tumblr that not even David knows about. She posts about literature, her art, and a lot of Black Veil Brides + other band related things. The feedback on her work always makes her smile.
headcanon: She met Andy Biersack (Andy Sixx) back when the first album came out and he gave her the longest hug she ever had. Before she left, he took her arm and told her to stay strong, calling her a warrior right afterwards. This spawned the idea of The Story Of The Wild Ones.
headcanon: Eve has an anxiety + social anxiety disorder as well as depression. She went to therapy for a little bit due to her mom making her go, but stopped because she hated the condescending way her therapist talked to her.
headcanon: Her parents actually have quite a lot of money, having paid for all the merchandise (also shown in her room) and concerts she’s been to. She’s secretly grateful but also knows they owe her for their constant ignorance and awful ways of showing they care. The neighborhood was filled with rich assholes that couldn’t mind their business. Eve tried to stay out of it as much as possible but being the black sheep that she was, they had no problem standing back as she was lifted into an ambulance, shaking their head and saying “I told you so.” to their children.
headcanon: On the weekend of her parents’ honeymoon, she was home alone and called David who was happy to accept her request of getting absolutely smashed and hanging out around the empty house. The worst day of her life lead to probably the best weekend ever.
headcanon: She’s always wanted to publish her story as Wretched and Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones or Legion Of The Black. It was one of her biggest dreams to do so and she was going to contact Richard Villa but had to finish it first. This progress was cut off when her parents sent her away.
David calls her the Huntress and Eve calls him the Lost Boy. Those are their names in her story and also their names in both their phones’ contact lists.
